Chosen  Youth

Chosen Youth Ministry at Pleasant Dale Baptist Church exists to help students in 6th–12th grade know Jesus personally, grow deeper in their faith, and learn what it means to live boldly for Christ. Our mission is to engage, equip, and empower students with the Gospel to influence culture. Through worship, biblical teaching, small groups, fellowship, service, and plenty of fun, we want to create a place where students feel welcomed, loved, and challenged to become the young men and women God has called them to be.

We believe our students aren't simply the church of tomorrow—they are an important part of the church today. Chosen Youth gives students opportunities to build lasting friendships, ask real questions, discover their gifts, serve others, and put their faith into action. Above all, our desire is for every student who walks through our doors to encounter Jesus, understand the truth of His Word, and leave equipped to live differently, love others, and share the hope of Christ wherever God sends them.

Chosen Youth Sunday School is a time for students to come together, open God’s Word, and grow in their understanding of what it means to follow Jesus. In a relaxed and welcoming environment, students are encouraged to dig deeper into Scripture, ask questions, share with one another, and discover how biblical truth applies to the challenges they face every day. Our goal is not simply for students to know more about the Bible, but for them to develop a genuine, personal relationship with Christ and learn to live out their faith at home, at school, and wherever God places them. Sunday School is also a great place to build friendships, find encouragement, and grow alongside other students who are learning to follow Jesus. Come as you are, bring your Bible, and join us as we grow together in faith and in God’s Word.

Wednesday nights with Chosen Youth are all about faith, fellowship, and fun! Each week, our students gather to share a meal together, enjoy games and activities, and spend time building friendships in a welcoming environment where everyone can feel like they belong. The evening continues with worship led by our Chosen Youth Worship Band, giving students the opportunity to praise God together before hearing a message grounded in the truth of His Word. Wednesday Worship is designed to meet students where they are, help them grow in their relationship with Jesus, and encourage them to live out their faith throughout the week. Come hungry, bring a friend, and join us for a night of food, fun, worship, and the Word!
